An essay on Spirit, wherein the doctrine of the Trinity is considered in the light of nature and reason; as well as in the light in which it was held by the ancient Hebrews: compared also with the doctrine of the Old and New Testament. With an inquiry into the sentiments of the primitive fathers of the church: and the doctrine of the Trinity as maintained by the Egyptians, Pythagoreans, and Platonists. Together with some remarks on the Athanasian and Nicene Creeds.
