What you’ll do

Join us for a discussion about the cultures, histories and science of menstruation. Starting with the many ways we describe periods, we'll explore how our ideas about this bodily function have been shaped.

About your speakers

Visitor experience assistants Elissavet Ntoulia and Nelly Ekstrom have been exploring the subject of menstruation in our collections.

Where we’ll be

You will find us on the chairs in the centre of the Reading Room on level 2.
