What you'll do

Join colleagues from our Library Experience and Engagement team for a creative writing workshop inspired by items from our collections and our new display, ‘Expecting: Birth, Belief and Protection’.

Explore images and texts related to comforting rituals, and take part in activities such as word games and collaborative writing to help you write about your own rituals or imagine new ones.

You’ll then have a chance to write your own piece inspired by the items you’ve studied and the conversations you’ve shared.

The workshop is open to all levels, from beginners who want a place to start, to more experienced writers who may be looking for a spark for their next piece.
