The Hub is Wellcome’s dedicated space for transdisciplinary research on the fifth floor of Wellcome Collection.
We support the creation of new knowledge by bringing together people from different backgrounds such as academia, advocacy, clinical practice and the arts to explore specific questions of human health.
We do this through convening, programming, and funding – primarily with The Hub Award, which has been running for over 10 years. The Hub Award is a funded £2m, three-year residency, granted to a collaborative research group using transdisciplinary methods which address Wellcome’s mission to solve urgent health challenges facing everyone.
