Bible. O.T. Daniel 4. Nebuchadnezzar has a dream which Daniel interprets as a harbinger of madness. A year later, he is proudly speaking of how he built his wonderful palace "with the might of my power", when God's voice falls from heaven, announcing that "the kingdom is departed from thee". From this moment Nebuchadnezzar becomes temporarily mad, as in the dream
