Dangerous passions. Series One, Part One, Jealousy.

The first in a three-part series looking at human emotions which, in extreme, can make life painful, even dangerous, to live. This part focuses on anger and follows the story of Kelly, whose jealous rows with her boyfriend Nick drive her to tears and violence. We see them as they go to their first Relate therapy session which reveals how much of Kelly's problem actually stems from Nick. 61-year-old Val stalks her ex-husband and his new lover. Her jealousy is ruining her life and she takes the drastic step of leaving the country and moving to Tenerife. Gordon talks about how he felt when he discovered his children were not his own and the fit of jealous rage which led him to his rival's house. Each one of their stories charts in day-to-day detail the pain and destructiveness of extreme jealousy.
