Description

Red Digest. A commonplace book of holograph entries and pasted-in newspaper cuttings, etc., including some extracts and notes of medical interest. The medical entries are mainly under the heading 'Medicina laici'. There are allusions to several of Reade's novels, and this MS., is one of the numerous volumes compiled by the author for use and reference in connection with his literary work.

1 volume 15 ll. + 164 [314] ff. folio. 31 × 20 cm. Original diced calf binding. 150 ff. have been cut out, and many others are mutilated.
