    HOME HELP SERVICE This service is provided by the Salop Comity Council as one ot its functions under Part III of the National Health Service Act. It helps to maintain the aged and the sick in their homes. This excellent service is run in Oswestry and District by the supervisor Mrs. Crombie who has 22 home helps imder her control, NATIONAL ASSISTANCE (AMENDIiENT) ACT, 1951 Action was taken once under the above Act by the iiedical Officer of Health in 1964. HOSPITAL FACILITIES The follov/ing hospitals and clinics are administered by the Birmingham Regional Hospital Board which was constituted in accordance v;ith the National Health Service Act, Oswestry and District Hospital. The Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry. The Royal Salop Infirmary, Shrewsbury. Copthorne Hospital, Shrewsbury. Monkmoor Hospital, Shrewsbury. The Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, Shrewsbury.
