Killing of bacteria by antibiotics.

The mechanisms of cell wall synthesis, cell wall lysis, cell wall membrane structure, bacterial cellular protein synthesis and bacterial cell metabolism are illustrated. The effect on these mechanisms by antibiotics is discussed.
