    C 3 SCROFULOUS AFFECTIONS. H E intentions of cure in fcrofulous or ftruHious affections will confift in cor- recting the general cachexy, by ftrengthening the folidf, and attenuating the lentor of the humours, and in healing and removing the tumours and fores. The remedies, which would be mofl: ex- pedient to anfwer the firft intention, have been already examined under the articles.
