Description

Carved wooden panel depicting Saint Felicity and her seven sons, six in a cauldren and one being sung to by the saint. Patron saint of married women and invoked for male children. The item was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1905 in Rome and accessioned in 1955 (accession number R33/1955). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.

Painted wooden panel showing St Florian (250-c.304) patron saint of chimney sweeps, soap makers and firefighters. The item was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1933 and accessioned in 1938 (accession number R561/1938). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
