Creator/production credits

Edmond Desbonnet (1868-1953) opened the first of his many schools of physical culture in Lille in 1895. His publications included La Force physique, culture rationnelle, méthode Attila, méthode Sandow, méthode Desbonnet (1901) and Comment on devient athlète (1909). An exhibition of photographs of his schools was shown in Paris in 1992 (Accord à corps: Edmond Desbonnet et la culture physique, Paris: Editions Créaphis, 1992 (Collection Maison de la Villette))
