Gordon, Andrew (1712-1751)

French translation of the 'Preface' and 'Supplements' to his 'Versuch einer Erklärung der Electricität,' published at Erfürt in 1745. No French translation of Gordon's work appears to be recorded. The original was published at Erfürt in Latin with the title: 'Phaenomena electricitatis exposita' in 1744. [See the Dictionary of National Biography].
