Reproduction note

After an engraving made by 1552 for the Italian anatomist, Bartholomeus Eustachius, but only first published in Rome in 1714 by Giovanni Maria Lancisi in the Tabulae anatomicae clarissimi viri Bartholomaei Eustachii quas è tenebris tandem vidicatas. This plate is after plate 29 of Lancisi's edition. A shaded ground has been added and instead of Eustachius's grid, the muscles are indicated by numbers
