Volume is inscribed inside back (?formerly front) cover "Edward Pryce Lloyd", presumably Edward Pryce Lloyd, 1st Baron Mostyn (17 September 1768 – 3 April 1854)

Illegible inscription on back cover, with date of 1791.

55 leaves of manuscript medical recipes, mostly in the same hand, with a few culinary, cosmetic and domestic, some with attributions, followed by numerous blank pages.

At end of volume, 4 leaves with pasted-in cuttings, on hydrophobia, and one statement by the North Wales Humane Society in treating the effects of intense cold.
