The first item on the programme is about how mountain ranges are formed. The second item is about the Millenium seedbank project which began 5 years ago. It is estimated that there are around 240 000 flowering plant species in the UK and a small part of Europe alone. Quentin Cooper examines how this project is panning out and looks in particular at the ways in which the seeds themselves are best stored.
