[1] Printed customs notice "At the Court at St. James's, the 14th of October, 1795, present, The King's Most Excellent Majesty in Council" issued to Barnstaple. Regarding quarnatine and the prevention of the plague being brought in to Great Britain or Ireland from New York and Norfolk, Virginia, USA.

[2] Printed customs notice "At the Court at St. James's, the 6th of December, 1797, present, The King's Most Excellent Majesty in Council" issued to Barnstaple. Regarding prohibition of transporting the type of wood, guaiacum (lignum vitae).

[3] Printed customs notice "At the Court of Weymouth, the 28th of September, 1798, present, The King's Most Excellent Majesty in Council" issued to Barnstaple. Regarding regarding quarnatine and the prevention of the plague being brought in to Great Britain or Ireland from Philidelphia, Pensylvania, USA.

[4] A printed and signed order "By the Commissioners for Executing the Office of Lord High Admiral of Great Britain and Ireland, &c." from the Admiralty Commissioners, 25th September, 1800. Regarding quarantine and the prevention of the plague being brought in to Great Britain or Ireland.
