Smith, Hugh (d. 1790), M.D., M.R.C.P.

Formulae medicamentorum: or, a compendium of the practice of physic. To which is prefixed an essay on the effects and uses of blood letting by Hugh Smith (London, 1772). Interleaved copy, containing additional manuscript notes on diseases, with many medical receipts, but lacking the prefixed essay. There are also excerpts from various other medical works, notably Charles Kite's An essay on the recovery of the apparently dead. The compiler's [?] name 'Thos. Capper Golborn' appears at f. 120v.
