(Brofferio, Giuseppe) (1784-1843)

[Cenno medico sull'uso della vipera, e sopra un suo straordinario effetto, proceduto da osservazioni sulla nuova medicina.] This is the title of a work by Baldus Angelus Abbatius, first published at Urbino in 1589, and is certainly not that of the text of this MS., which has been tentatively identified with the short tract published by Brofferio. It must have been written c. 1820, as is shown by a reference to Sir George Leman Tuthill [1772-1835] in a foot-note on the third page of the text. Produced in Turin.
