Description

Either a leaflet or magazine insert which has testimonials from 1859 as to the effectiveness of the powder in killing "fleas, bugs, emmets, flies, cockroaches, beetles, gnats, mosquitoes, moths in furs, and every other species of insect in all stages of metamorphosis." The leaflet is printed in black, red and green on white paper and advertises packets and bottles of the product. There is a small illustration in a red, oval border above the text of 10 insects, 3 of whom are quite clearly dead.
