Biographical note

The first work seems to be a version of the 'Accurttatio' of the 'Lullian Collection', described by Thorndike History of Magic and Experimental Science, Vol. IV, Ch. 1, and the second of the 'Elucidaio'. the work of Florianus is mentioned by Thorndike op. cit., Vol. IV, p. 339: he gives the name as 'Floranus', and attributes the tract o Winandus de Ruffo Clipeo.
