    FACULTY OF LETTERS Doctorate of the University of Nancy (Letters). Requirements : 1. Production of a Curriculum vitas and a Certificate of Stu- dies, of which the Faculty recognizes the value. 2. Matriculation in the Faculty of Letters and course of two half years of study, one being a winter session. 3. Examinations : a) A French thesis, printed, the subject of which has been approved by the Faculty. b) Oral questions selected from the special branch of study of the candidate, and given by the Faculty, at least three months before the Examination takes place. 4.
