Description
Originally Craigleith Poorhouse. Taken over in World War I by (or as?) the 2nd Scottish General Hospital, when apparently known as Craigleith Hospital. Later returned to civilian use and in 1932 renamed the Western General Hospital. See Eastwood et al., op. cit.
