Biographical note

Probably a student's notes of lectures, perhaps in France, and written while William Buchan [1729-1805] was still alive [cf. p. 101 'Dat celeb. Buchan']. Pp. 107-end contain notes on the methods of treating the apparently drowned or those overcome by cold.
