Large chart (printed in 6 columns of text) giving instructions for dealing with ships arriving in British waters with infectious disease on board (plague is mentioned repeatedly). Headings are: Duty of commanders and masters of vessels, Duty of pilots, Duty of other persons, What vessels are liable to quarantine, Signals, List of articles considered as most liable to infection, Quarantine ports, Preliminary questions and Quarantine questions (to be put to the vessel). This was clearly issued by the British Government and is dated 1826.
