Notes

Authorship of the Speculum sapientiæ uncertain. Attributed by some authorities to Saint Cyrillus of Thessalonica; or (by J. Dobrovský, Slavin, p. 162 and by Graesse) to a certain Cyrillus de Quidenon, of the 13th century.
The Dialogus creaturarum sive contemptus sublimitatis, is in the Paris MS. no. 8512, ascribed to a Nicolaus, Pergaminus (changed by Grässe to Pergamenus), in the Codex cremonensis LII. 6.4 to Magnus de Magneriis [Magninus Mediolanenis, Mayno de254}0Mayneri] Cf. Pio Rajna, Del "Dialogus creaturarum" in Giorn, stor. della letterat. ital., v. 3, 4, 10, 11.
