    The christian is still more highly pri- vileged. His eye, happily invigorated by faith, is able to penetrate the thick mist which hangs over the tomb, and which from our unassisted sight, inter- cepts any further prospect. The light of divine revelation is, after all, the only light which can effectually disperse the gloom of a sick chamber, and irradiate even the countenance of death.
