About this work
Description
In the first item on the programme, Quentin Cooper investigates a strange new scientific finding which claims that bacteria can 'talk.' He meets researchers who are decoding this chemical language (which may perhaps come to be known as 'bacterian') and finds out what a potentially exciting new tool it might provide in the fight against killer infections which are becoming resistant to many antibiotics.
