Another Autograph Letter to Admiral Sir J. Kempthorne, 8s. - Lisbon, April 19th, 1667 Acknowledging the receipt of the Admiral’s letter, and had given instruc- tions to the ships accordingly; he has had his share of thunder here, and shall be glad to see them all well under sail; they accuse you of having taken sixtden prizes, requests all the crosses, reliques, parchments, letters, &c., may be taken out of the prizes, and sent on shore to him, that the priests may not join in the clamour, and other interesting particulars. 3545 Southwell (Sir Rob.) Another Autograph Letter to James Butler, first Duke of Ormonde, 1/, Is. Kingsneslon, 27th Sept., 1683 *»* A most pleasing and beautiful specimen, congratulating his Grace upon the birth of his first grandson, in the most kind and expressive manner.
