    REGULATIONS. I. Subscribers of One Guinea annually, become Governors, with the privilege of having one Patient at a time, and one lying-in woman in the year, for each Guinea subscribed ; provided they be not in arrear for more than six months. Such Subscription to be paid in advance, and will be considered as continued until notified to the contrary. Should any Patient have been three months on the books, the Governor who recommended such Patient, may nevertheless then recommend another. II. Those giving Ten Guineas at one time, or paying that sum within the year, become Life Governors, with the privilege of having always one Patient on the books, and one lying-in Patient during the year. Subscribers of Twenty Guineas may have two Patients at one time, and give two lying-in Letters in the year ; and so on in proportion for larger donations.
