WHEN the phyfician, by means of medicines, has fubdued a difeafe, unlefs the patient is put upon a proper method of diet, exercife, &c. to prevent a relapfe, his work is often¬ times in vain. A few observations upon food, to enable perfons, in fome meafure, to judge for themfeives of the fit or unfit, will, I truft, prove acceptable; as phyfic and good nurfing ought ever to go hand in hand.
