    vulfipns moved to the right leg ; then return- ed to the fame hand and arm; and removed from thence to the left arm ; from thence to the left leg; and returned again to the left arm and hand, where they terminated. And, at another time, every part of the body, from head to foot, feemed to be attacked at the fame inftant. An universal obfervation, during the whole courfe of her complaint, has been, that for a few minutes previous to the acceffion of the fit, the part firft feized (for, as it has been ob- ferved, it was not always the head) was affed- ed with a fhooting pain of no confiderable de- gree of violence, nor extending beyond that part.
