About this work

Description

A canine skull as viewed from the left-hand side showing a large and malignant bone tumour (osteosarcoma) arising from the left temporal bone. Osteosarcoma is an aggressive form of cancer and commonly metastasises (spreads to other regions). It occurs in growing bone and is the most common bone cancer found in dogs, particularly amongst larger breeds.
