Description

Paper certificate (issued in this instance in October 1931, though designed a lot earlier as Dadd died in 1920) for passing tests in "life-saving and resuscitation of the apparently drowned". Earlier versions of this were on card and didn't have the Society's address and note about wearing their badge at the bottom of the paper.
