Description
Pilules de Mahomet contre l'Épilepsie ou Mahométain. Recette tirée d'une Pharmacopée orientale et réproduite à l'aide de l'écritura coufique. Employée dans une Pharmacopée Pontificale des Imams, arrières petit-fils de Mahomet. Autre Recette perfectionée et réformée. Autres Pilules réformées... At the top of the first leaf is an oriental-style decoration in water-colour. Two of the leaves consist of parts of a printed notice of meetings of the Académic Royale de Médecine, dated 7/11/1846 addressed to M. Bonastre (i.e. J. F. Bonastre [ -1856]). There is a short glossary of Persian medical terms.
