Lettering

Translation of lettering: "Where there are many crowns, there are many battles" (Saint Ambrose). "After Saint Sebastian was crowned with martyrdom, the flesh of Saint Blaise, bishop and martyr under the governorship of Agricolaus, after long slashing and suspension on [fire?] wood, was torn with iron-toothed paddles, after foul imprisonment and submersion in a lake etc. Martyrologia romana. Carlo Maratti painted it. R. van Audenaerd engraved it. With a privilege of the pope and of the most Christian king."
