About this work

Description

One of a series of colour cards (sent in sets of 6 in exchange for coupons from jars of Liebig's 'Fleisch-Extract' or Extractum Carnis Liebig) on the theme that you can take and consume Liebig extract anywhere in the convenient tin tubes. All show people having a meal involving the product, at tables or outdoors. This one shows a military camp, a soldier cooking Liebig in a metal cauldron suspended over a fire, one bringing a bucket to him and a third lying down blowing at the fire. Liebig cards appeared in various languages.
