Description

Calendarium naturale magicum perpetuum profundissimam rerum secretissimarum contemplationem totiusque philosophiae cognitionem completens. Copied by F. Vallée, mathématicien en 1716 à Paris. Illustrated with pen and wash drawings, copied from the original engravings published by J. T. de Bry after the designs by Tycho Brahe dated 1582. The B.M. suggest c. 1620? as the date of the publication of this work, which was in the form of a large broadside, measuring over 100 cm. by over 50 cm. A cut-up copy of this original Calendarium is entered as No. 321 in Part I of this Catalogue. Some explanatory notes in French have been added by Vallée. Produced in Paris.
