Booklet about the Society of the Good Companions (founded in Stafford, England). They were groups of unemployed people who banded together t make their own employment, buying materials at wholesale prices, providing welfare, daytime occupational and recreational activities and caring for the sick among other things, offsetting the potentially depressing feeling that people may never find work again. Financial help is also requested.
