Description

Chromo-litho trade card, showing a young Turkish boy in ornate, embroidered ruby red waistcoat, fez and gown, with a white sash. he is leaning against 3 boxes of Scott & Bowne's 'Scott's Emulsion' inscribed in arabic, Spanish and English. The sun is setting behind him and the minarets of a city are in the distance. The reverse describes the fortifying nature of the tonic against consumption, scrofula, anaemia, emaciation, colds and coughs. It is copyright 1889.
