About this work

Description

The first item on the programme is about the No Place for a Child campaign, launched by Save the Children, the Refugee Council, and Bail for Immigration Detainees, which highlights the plight of children in detention within the British asylum process. The second item is about current research at Stirling University where 5-year-olds are taught to look away from the face of the questioner when answering questions. Adults and older children do this naturally but does it help you get the answer right? Finally we hear about what role social psychologists have in shaping the world we live in.
