Description

This short film explains the problem of international debt in an engaging and accessible way using animation and fictionalised case histories; Maisy who decides to set up a bakery with an above the shop flat and then a fictitious South American country, Brazico, which is given a US$1 billion loan. The problem arises with the interest and repayments. The ultimate result is poverty and political instability.
