The series is designed for use by medical and life science students, researchers, and healthcare professionals. The Schistosomiasis CD-ROM provides an introduction to the major features of schistosomiasis, including the complex schistosoma life cycle, disease diagnosis and techniques, human behaviour patterns, disease treatment and control. An electronic glossary of medical and scientific terms with an easy-to-use interface is included. The CD-ROM consists of 12 interactive tutorials with approximately 500 images.
