About this work

Description

Neurons or nerve cells are the core components of the brain and spinal cord of the central nervous system (CNS), and of the ganglia of the peripheral nervous system (PNS) controlling many motor and sensory functions of the body. An artists impression of a cluster of brain cells lights up with activity around an idea. Both neurones and the small support cells surrounding them are hot with activity. A pulsating wave of blue thought comes out of the interaction and irregularly radiates out into the surrounding tissue. It is the mix and the interplay that produces the Eureka moment. Cellular level art, paint on silk, digitised.
