Description

Copy of the Deposition of William Day, chirurgeon of Faversham in the case of John Mascall v. Stephen Odiarus, John Boswell and others: given before the Commissioners of the Court of Chancery at the 'Dolphin' in Faversham, on 11 June, 1688. Day's evidence is on ff. 1-10, and deals with the treatment for an ulcerated leg of Gregory Odiarus-one of the defendants-by a certain Thomas Elvy, chirurgeon of Ashford, to whom he (Day) had been apprentice some fifteen years previously. Produced in Faversham.
