About this work
Description
A study of the medical and psychological problems faced by haemophiliacs and their families. The emphasis is rather on the human genetics of haemophilia, genetic screening and counselling for haemophiliacs and their families than on the problem of the special exposure of haemophiliacs to AIDS due to the large scale importation of supplies of human blood factor 8 from the U.S. obtained from HIV-positive blood donors.
