Notes
The first work is a translation of the third part of the 'Paragranum' (cf. Sudhoff I, 166) first published in 1565. There was a French translation, found in 'Les XIV livres des Paragraphes, Paris, H. du Mesnil, 1631' (ibid. I. 366). The second part is probably a translation of the 'Dictionarium Theophrasti Paracelsi' by Gerardus Dorn, at Frankfort in 1583 (Sudhoff I, 198).
