About this work

Description

"If You Need Free Printing is a zine compiled of artworks submitted to Hato Press in June 2020 in response to the Black Lives Matter protests that took place in London and across the world. This is a not for profit project, 100% of the money raised will be donated to The Free Black University. All artworks have been donated kindly by the artists who took part in the printing for protests in June 2020. Founded by Melz Owusu in early 2020, The Free Black University is an organisation that looks to reimagine the education system as a tool for social change and Black liberation. Their core aims are to provide de-colonised resources, spaces and teachings, in turn allowing black students a freedom of self, of knowledge and expression in a safe and radical context."--From website. https://hato.store/products/if-you-need-free-printing-zine
