About this work
Description
Documentary following the daily lives of four people suffering from schizophrenia. Each attempts to describe their histories and their experiences, with a strong emphasis on how family life both survives and responds to severe mental illness in its midst. We see Julian Lett, a consultant psychiatrist, training a group of therapists as they role-play a potential family situation with one of the subjects of the documentary, James. We then see the real family therapy session.
