Paterno, Bernardino ( -1592)

Lectiones in Artem parvam Galeni. (ll. 1-93) Pendasio (Federigo) [ -1603] Tractatus de Prima Materia. (ll. 94-143). Miscellaneous notes on diseases and symptoms. The lectures by Paterno are incomplete, and the leaves have been bound in wrong order. The work by Pendasio is also incomplete, but in right order. On fol. 13 is the date 12 February, 1578, and on fol. 75v, 30 January, 1578. At the end of Paterno's tenth lecture is written 'Pulsantibus scolaribus finem hic posuit'. These lecture notes have been taken down by an un-named student. In the first work, there are many gaps in the text, and it is written very carelessly. In uniform binding with the Paterno MS. No. 602, and by the same hand. Both these MSS. seem originally to have formed part of one large volume. Produced in [Padua].
